PS2 problem!

I have been having heaps of problems with my PS2 reading dvd\'s.....i have used a cd lens cleaner and it worked the first time with no problems but now my PS2 wont even read the damn lens cleaner!

half of my dvd collection doesnt even work what shall i do?

spray your lens cleaner with alcohol, then put it in your ps2 wet.  It won\'t play, but it will spin enough to clean the lens.  take out the cleaner, and let the ps2 dry out for 30secs.  now put the cleaner in one more time, and let it play.  then try your dvd.

ok thanx for that i will hope that it works, and if that doesnt work does that mean my ps2 is screwed as in the lasers need realignment?

seriously folks, DON\'T USE YOUR PS2 AS A DVD PLAYER!

Save the wear and tear for your PS2 games. It\'s better to get a separate DVD player to play the movies.
