I\'ve played the FULL VERSION for awhile now, don\'t diss it till you play the retail
I have played the retail version
The levels in this game are amazing and the sound is spot on.
Agreed! although this isn\'t enough to make UT2003 a good game. You have to be real old school UT to understand what\'s i\'m talking about. It seems to me Digital Extreme has made this game more for the mainstream than the hardcore ut player. They want to expand there franchise, get more people involved in the unreal world. Heck even DE admitted to this, that the intention to UT2003 was to have a game more user friedly to the causual gamer, which is fine from a business point, but this game lacks the finesse UT had.
You see giving it pretty graphics, sound and effects will catch the eyes of an average gammer. I still play UT and even though it\'s graphics and sound don\'t match that of UT2003, I still think it\'s a 100x better.
Ut2003 is a prime example how graphics don\'t eqiual better, this illustrates that gameplay gomes first before anything else.
Now the question remains will Tim sweeny who is working on Unreal warefare, mess it up, I hope not. I do indeed have faith in this man considering he was the creator of UT and not 2003.
Obviously we know Warefare will be completley different from UT, that\'s ok times moves on things must grow and evolve, but can he capture the same essence as he did with UT. Only time will tell.
