NFS Hot Pursuit 2 that is. I feel like buying a game and need some PS2 Central reviews before I open up my wallet.

Anyone have it and is it as good as they say?

If you pick up the October issue of OPM it has a NFS demo on it.

I thought it was pretty good just going by the demo.Graphics are pretty good, not GT3 good but not bad at all.If you\'ve played NFS before it\'s basicly more of the same, high powered cars, tracks with multiple routes, hot pursuit mode, race mode, all with or without normal car traffic involved.AI doesn\'t seem to bad either, although it still just as easy to lead the police into a guadrail as before.

I\'m a bit tired of the simulated perfection needed for GT games and have been looking for a good arcadey racer so I\'ll probably pick it up.
I swear this post is not spam!!!!Listen,if this post was spam, would I do this? [spreads mayonaise over bread]

I\'ve got a perfect alternative to both of your problems, BURNOUT 2!
An amazing arcade racer and 60 fps all the way through! It\'s fast, really fast. And it also has beautiful graphics.

btw, I also liked Need for speed, I\'ve played both. So ben_high it really doesn\'t matter which one you get you\'re going to have a great time with either one!

Get Burnout 2 if you got the "need for speed":p
or get Need for Speed if you like alot of cars, cool environments and the matrix 360 camera rotation! ;)

Framerate issues have pretty much so been fixed in the final copy of NFS.

Like I said, pretty much. When there are no other opponents on screen or cops, its very smooth.

The tracks are also very, very long, and there are times when its just you and the open road.
