Soooooo Umm... No online in TS2.
« on: October 15, 2002, 09:17:53 PM »
I want to rip the nuts offa the person or persons who decided  against adding online multiplayer to Timsplitters 2.  I don\'t have any friends here cuz I just moved here.  I was sooooo looking forward to playing online.

So when did they change there mind... and will any other version have Online?

1.  To solve the friends problem, make new ones.  ;)
2.  They changed their minds when they realized they didn\'t have the money to maintain the servers.
3.  No other version will have online play.

Well... now that I am older its not as easy as it used to be.  Most people here my age (23 or so) arent into anything but hiking and biking (near aspen colorado).     and whats wrong with P2P? As far as servers.

Hmmm... wait a minute,

Under network settings it asks for ISP information.  And under connectin type it looks like it can be togled.  I don\'t have the online adapter yet, so someone test these settings out... please

the X box version has a software "patch" that you can download, but its all very 3rd party and suspect to me(see the official TS2 forum for more info).

but other than that no official Online mode for any console.

the PS2 is the only one that you can link more than 1 console i think.

You can link up the XBox version.  And play it through GameSpy (much easier than you can the PS2 version)
