Paul Wellstone .... memorial?

I don\'t know much about politics, but I know this was taken to the extreme.

For those of you who don\'t know, a memorial was held for Paul Wellstone (a senator that died a few days ago in a plane crash). Trying to avoid political discussion, Dick Cheney was not allowed to come so a debate would not start.  As it turn out the "memorial" was turned into a democratic rally, saying to vote democratic over and over again "for Paul Wellstone." :rolleyes:

Don\'t get me wrong, it\'s sad that they died, but the party\'s actions made a mockery of his death.

1. If you talk to any Socialist (Mr. Shockwaves will do just fine), he\'ll tell you that Democrats are just a little bit less Right than the Republicans. Neither are left :-P

2. Last time I checked, Bush got a Tax reduction last year

Democrats have no conviction left. They know they have nothing to stand up for, and are just power hungry. Turning this memorial into a 4 hour advertisment for Mondale? Disgusting. I hope this will bite them in the ass and lose this seat to Republicans, and lose the Senate to Republicans as well.

Yes, I agree, that WAS pretty dumb. But I don\'t think it will affect Minnesota - Wellstone was winning the poll updates. As for other states, who knows. All I really have to say about that, is if the Democrats want help, don\'t even try to get it from Nebraska

Ahh, I miss the days when we had Democrats in every government seat. Bob Kerrey and J.J. Exon, with Ben Nelson as the governor. Good times
