Very realistic.You cant see the framerate from a pic though.

I\'ll be playing it tomorrow so I can judge the framerate for myself.

all the movies i have seen have a rather :crap: frame rate

...which is strange, because the devs themselves never claimed less than constant 60 fps themselves. Maybe the last view tweaks will really solve the framerate issues? I really do hope so...

Meh ! I\'m getting this game anyway. From previews from
a (very sceptic magazine) they say the framerate from the
ects build wasn\'t quite tops in the \'driving a vehicle\' part
of the game. The good news however is they found the \'on
foot\' parts of the game very very splendid . So I really
hope Studio Soho doesn\'t have to swallow their statement
that the final build WILL have a constant 50 fps framerate.

Visually OK\'ish. Far from amazing. I\'m forgiving lots here though, thanks to the scope of the project.

There\'s a word for this feeling I gots... underwhelmed? Yup.

i know someone who knows omeone from the company that makes it, he played a preview a few months ago, said frame rate is good, and the game is good

Slow down ? the DVD containing the getaway sitting in my PS2 has no slow down what so ever.  It\'s very impressive stuff the roads are jam packed around 25-30 cars on screen at once all with reflections from the surronding buildings, sky etc. The handling is perfect nice weighty cars with good responsive handling this game will be big.

How about them pedestrians? Many of \'em? How\'s the AI? There are lots of people in London ya know, I expect to see lot of \'em in the game too. Which is why the pics released seem weird to me.

My expectations from the game(seen from pics only)

- Field of vision seems limited, notice on getaway217.jpg
- Reflections in objects are almost null, even GTA3 has more, reflections on vehicles
- I haven´t seen the game running, but something tells me that it will suffer from a lack of sense in speed.
- I like the idea of the game, though IMO lighting conditions could be better, i believe theres a huge lack of dynamic lighting, textures look always the same, like a paiting.

Well, its all i can think of now.

-There is smoke at the forground.Check the last pic.
-Also check th elast pic
-Its not arcdady, its not a racing game.That\'s not an issue.
-Looks better than GTA3 and many other games.How many textures do u want?There are 3GB compressed textures.I see more repeated textures in other games.
