I.ve been to the base many many times. I have covered every square inch and have yet to see the chopper. Maybe I\'m not far enough along in the game. Who knows?

I do know I have blown up the apache twice. Once on a mission, and once when I had a 6 star wanted level.  Oh well I\'m sure it will eventually show up. I\'m just taking it slow this time around. I beat GTA3 in a week and went and traded it in for MGS2. I\'m not trading this game in, and I don\'t want to beat it too fast. I\'m just taking it all slow collecting money and property. I own everything on the game except the Malibu Club. And everything is generating assets for me.

If I steal a decent helicopter is there anywhere I can store it while I save or do I have to re-steal it every time?

You can put the heli on top of your Mansion or the Hyman condo.

Although I tried to get into the base last night and failed miserably, wasted about 5 seconds after getting out of my car!!
