CubeNation\'s Announcement for english readers :

BREAKING: New Square Enix project on Gamecube and PS2

CubeNation is able to reveal the developing of Parasite Eve - Rebirth, a title by Square Enix, that will hit the market at the end of the year 2003 on PS2 and Gamecube in Japan. For those who doesn\'t know the saga, two previous episodes were already launched on PSone, and have had a well deserved success. Parasite Eve - Rebirth will be a brand new episode offering an innovating combat system, digitalized voices, and an astouding technical realisation.

This game, who will be sold in the US and Europe during 2004, will be, according to our asian sources, much more entertaining than the ones before, and offering a huge lasting appeal. This is a game that will be a long-awaited one on Nintendo Gamecube, as this adventure/action pack could pretty much break that for-kids game reputation people have about the Gamecube.

We will keep you in touch when we will have more information.

Uff... great games can "rebirth" from Square-Enix deal. This one was a cool one in the PSOne, so I think it\'s a good idea to make at least a chapter for the black.

Thanx for the info fastson ;p

Everyone who has posted so far has had bad grammar...

And also...I really enjoyed this game on PlayStation. It was pretty awesome, and I can\'t wait to see it in full PlayStation 2 glory...:) I think by the end of 2003, the graphics on PS2 games, especially designed by Square-Enix, will have improved (in terms of being able to program for the PS2).

The first one was a good game. Not a great game, but enjoyable one at least. The second one, I enjoyed it too even though a lot of people panned it (since they basically threwout the gameplay of the first one and started over).

Can\'t wait for this Parasite Eve Rebirth thing. If real (while I have no reason to doubt CubeNation, and I am currently assuming it is real. However, it has yet to hit other news sites, so am waiting to see what happens).

Wasn\'t this supposed to have been achived with Resident Evil: Rebirth, Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, Metriod Prime, even BMX XXX which is uncensored on the GC?
