Received a DVD-VHS player for x-mas is it ok to hook the ps2 up throught it or not too???

You may have problems with the signal, because of the anti-copy system of the console. If you see a green colour in the tv, time to connect it through another device ;)

Thanks man, I just don\'t want to hurt my PS2 in anyway, played it earlier, nothing wrong I just heard it could damage things when hooked up through other devices, but the instructions in the dvd-vhs player show you hooking up alternate devices, and had a pic of a ps2 so I should be ok, thanks for the help adan, I feel the need to send you a coin, gimme some ideas and I\'ll see what I can do for ya.

You willl probably be stuck with useing rca jacks. If there is S-Video out, you can buy an adapter which allows you to connect mulitple S-Video units to your tv. I would then go with a set of monster cables for S-Video for ps-2. The picture is unbeliveable.

Yes, but you forgot to mention that S-video only works with "video", so he will have to find a new hook for the sound...
