I\'m not so sure about that, if I were you I would check the FAQ\'s that are at gamefaqs.com. These seem to go into detail about corrupting savegames.

i dont think anything happens. all that happens to me is the cheats turn off after you turn the ps2 off. iv had no problems with the saved games.

It does lower your score though.
