I am currently playing 007: Nightfire and it is great IMO. One of the best FPS games on the ps2. I am enjoying it more then Timesplitters 2 and Red Faction 2.

You know...

These topics belong in the Main Forum...

So, here it goes...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

2D fighters...I\'ve so many I\'ve lost count of them.

But for me my all-time favourite will be Super Street Fighter 2 on the Genesis.

The rest just doesn\'t have the feel when I play the game at that time. It was the first Street Fighter I own...so I can pratise the dragon punch and fireball without embarrassing myself in the arcades!!! LOL. I become pretty good at but only with the genesis controller. Somehow, I\'m just not good at the arcade stick for those half circle movement.

FPS: MOH:Frontline
Fighter: Mortal Kombat 2 & Streetfighter Hyper(think that was the one where you could do about 5 fireballs on screen)
I see a red door and I want it painted black...

If I had to pick a game for either one of these genres, I would say:

FPS: MOH
3D Fighter: VF4
2D Fighter: They are all fairly good, it’s just not my thing.

The PS2 lacks in the FPS area I think. Turok was cool for the fact that it was Turok and I have liked the other installments of this game. But the Xbox has the ultimate best FPS and that would be….Halo of course. There is not much the PS2 has to compare to a 16-man death match in the basement of a friend’s house with Halo ‘till six in the morning!

Guilty Gear X is a cool 2-d fighter. The release of guilty gear xx(more characters, more moves, more action) is in february so I would wait for that one.

Hope this helps.
