February a Great Month for Console Gamers
« on: January 21, 2003, 05:01:59 PM »
Well me at least, look at what comes out in February for me...

Lets start out with X-Box, although I don\'t play it as much, I\'ll end up buying an X-Box game two months in a row.  Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is looking to be a slick RPG filled with Action and Adventure.  I feel this is a good step for Lucas Arts in the RPG department, I hope the final outcome is as good as they are making it to be.

For the Gamecube, I turn to two games I will get FOR FREE.  As part of a preorder bonus, I will be recieving The Ledgend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Master Quest, the Ura Zelda rumoured for quite some time now.  Although there will be no graphical enhancements, who wouldn\'t want to play this classic again?

My beloved PS2 will not be neglected in February as Dark Cloud 2, my desperately awaited sequel to the first makes it debut onto the market.  The game will feature much improved cel-shaded graphics, improved gameplay, and that wonderful geo-rama mode that we all came to love.  BTW this game is only 39.99 :)

Alas, my portable gets some action in February.  Megaman & Bass a japanese classic and continuing saga of the original megaman series debuts in America.  Mega Man has been big on the GBA, this game will be no exception, I expect nothing less than high 8\'s on this game.

All together I will have spended a total of $119.99 for 5 great games.

I\'ll get DMC2, Zelda and maybe Mega Man. That\'s it, otherwise the gaming scene is sucking rather hardcore
