GT4 Interview - Concerns about online play & car damage

The new wheel was really good. It has a 900 degree rotatation this year, as opposed to 360 last time. I spoke to the Logitech guy at length about the wheel, and though it is pretty much finished now, it won\'t be launching until gt4 comes out. I never used the wheel last time, so I don\'t know if it did this, but when you are going really fast and driving with one hand, the wheel shakes like mad. This is a nice twist, and really makes it feel like you\'re handling a powerful car at fast speeds.

As far as the interface goes, it\'s exactly the same. You select cars in the same way, and even selecting what you want, like manual or automatic is the same.

Aaron, iwas just wondering were the graphics anything like what was posted a couple of weeks ago, ie like the pics in this thread http://www.psx2central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29471
(probably not, but i only asked so as to not expect too much from the game)

I hope they put the speedo in MPH this time around. GT3 only had KPH and in the UK we use MPH.

The bad news is, the game looks nothing like that. Like I said, it does look good, but really it just doesn\'t match those magazine scans. Really, the cars look smoother, and have better reflections, and that\'s about it. The Grand Canyon background looks sweet, but it\'s not fully rendered or anything. Don\'t worry, it looks good, but not even close to those screens.
