this may sound crazy but i think that Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf was a spy working for the U.S govt.
just think about it, what better way to make the iraqis stop believing their govt. than blatantly lying to them he was also one of the few who knew saddam very well, he also must\'ve known that saddam would be in that resteraunt.
