Jimi also went through a phase where he only played with Black artists..(at the urging of peeps in the black power movement)

I think Buddy Miles was the drummer in the later days...

I heard it on the radio- the reason they picked him is actually funny. Because he had a "big ass" afro, and "skinny" glasses. :D
