One thing i dont understand is that they said NVIDIA was making the graphics chip??? Riiiiiight.

It was rumoured some time ago. Apparently though, Sony gave Nvidia the boots.

Thats kinda lame. NVIDIA takes all the chips cause they have hands on all sides of the table except for nintendo. Since when has sony ever gone for PURE American manufacturers? I think they should..... meh, like it will matter : P

The end to controller wires.  Do they make Bluetooth controllers yet for PS2?

Bluetooth wouldn\'t handle amound of data, it\'s also designed solely as a short range communication thingie.

802,11g could fit today\'s requirements, both distance wise and the fact that force feedback has become the standard.

However I wouldn\'t want a controller that needed batteries and whatnot, gimme either a charging cradle or stick with the wires.

The only thing I demand from the next console is the ability to turn it on with the controller, I hate sitting infront of the tube thinking "ehh nothing on, best to play a game" and having to stand up to fire up the console, let me just grab the controller and start playing.

Call me lazy or whatever I don\'t mind :p

1.FF7
  2. Grandia
  3. MGS
Is it me? Or does PSone own all the other systems?

I personally don\'t give a rats patootie what it looks like.  It\'s what\'s inside that counts.  I personally would like it to just fit in my entertainment rack.

That\'s not all that bad...compared to the rest of the concept art I\'ve seen. Compared to the PS2...it looks like f*ing shee-yot. It\'s nice to see people coming up with new ideas though. Also, don\'t be so quick to judge how big or small the new Sony system will be. The technology is, in fact, being able to put an entire supercomputer just on one chip. I don\'t care too much for this concept, but we only have 2 or so years to wait anyway.

I was talking with an employee at Gamestop, and I was asking him questions if Sony had given any word about it\'s release (the PS3), and he said it was 7 to 10 years down the line, and he had no idea what I was talking about when I started explaining about IBM and Sony working together. I called him a few choice names and never asked him for help again. I hate ignorance...ignorance isn\'t bliss.

I sure hope the rumours are true about a revamped XBOX the size of a PS2...let\'s see if E3 spills anything.

They should have just done that in the first place. I don\'t like the Xbox only because Microsoft is trying to monopolize the gaming industry just like the computer industry...by buying out companies to make "Xbox-Only" games. Great graphics...stupid Bill Gates. It would be nice to see a smaller version of the Xbox, though. It seriously is just WAY too big...the cotroller is the worst I\'ve seen too. Hard to get a hold of it with my small-ass hands...which I didn\'t know were that small until the Xbox came around. I heard they\'re going to add a toaster and VHS option to the Xbox...:boom: j/k (obviously)

E3...much fun...:)
