Aaron\'s E3: Day 2

Just a quick update today guys. I’ve got to roll to the Sony party in an hour. Rumor is that Foo Fighters or the Chili Peppers are playing it, so I don’t want to miss that…

Today I worked hard to get lots of booth babe pictures for you freaks out there – you know who you are. Some of them don’t have me in them even, so I know you’re happy about that. Check that topic for all the juicy pictures.

Here’s some of what I played/saw today:

Castlevania PS2 It looks pretty tight. Controls are very nice, and the game seems to be reminding people of Devil May Cry, but with a mobile camera. The game moves fast and is very crisp and clear. I couldn’t hear the music at all because the show is loud, so who knows how that will turn out.

Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater They’ve got an 8-10 minute trailer looping over and over that’s a mixed-bag of badass and boring. Snake seems pretty vicious, and in one scene shoots a guy he’s hiding behind right through the stomach, and blood flies out everywhere. He’s sneaking through a jungle, climbing trees and sneaking through the brush. At one point, he’s munching on a fish that he got out of the stream, and there seems to be some sort of focus on having to eat live animals. I know, it’s weird. Weird stuff. The story is certainly not looking to be any more sane than the last incarnation, and that’s not good.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles This game is taking a lot of people by surprise – cause it rocks like the old Turtle games did in the arcade. It’s cell-shaded and supports two characters at the same time. It’s just what you’d expect from and arcade-style Turtles game, and it’s full of action. I want this one bad.

Mario Kart: Double Dash I won the contest this morning and got a snazzy t-shirt and GBA SP case for my efforts. I’m not a huge fan of the game’s visuals – they are kind of cel-shaded looking, but it plays great. It runs smooth, and the weapons are pretty cool. There’s a weapon cube that bounces around the level and if you get it, you get a huge power-up. If you’ve liked any of the past games, you will love this one most likely.

A’ight, I gotta roll to the party. I’ll get a few updates up tomorrow, and throughout the weekend. Enjoy some random pictures of the show and some games…

This is me in "Stage Debut" a game that will never come out. They took my picture with a GBA camera

Has Gary Coleman gotten laid yet?  I haven\'t followed his story too closely, but I do remember him coming across as a desperate horny midget in an interview a year or so ago.  He was even hitting on the woman doing the interview... quite sad.

On a related note... I enjoyed using the tazer gun on him over and over again in Postal 2 :)

I had no clue why he was there. Someone had a picture of him that they asked him to sign and he wouldn\'t do it. Said it was too old. Who the hell does he think he is?
