Yeah, I saw man on the moon for the first time on comedy central a few weeks back, it was a great movie :)
It was a darkness all my own, a song played on the radio, It went straight to my heart - I carried it with me - until the darkness was gone.

Finding Nemo looks sweet, not out here until next week (when school holidays start).

Are there any corny Australian accents??? Watched the trailer and the animation looked amazing.

Pixar is a talented bunch. At one time the Disney name held up Pixar and got Pixar the attention. Now\'a\'days its the other way around... People see things that say..

"From the makers of Toy Story..."

"From the makers of Monsters Inc.."

"From the makers of A Bugs Life...."

"PIXAR"

My point?
Pixar needs to dump Di$ney and do their own thing. One of which is that project they have always talked about doin\', a CG film for the mature audiences.

I heard somewhere that PIXAR\'s contract with Disney is up in a year or two.  Currently the two split profits 50/50, but i\'m sure that now they can afford to call their own shots when their contract is up.

I thought that short film before Finding Nemo with the little guy inside the snowglobe was pretty funny.  I think it was a sample of some of their early work in the early 90\'s.

There are some interesting write-ups about that snowglobe movie.

Apparently the chick had huge tits in the original short.  And that is what made it funny.  They I guess made it PC now and made her flat chested which I guess pissed off a lot of old school animation fans.

One of my college teachers works for Disney.  Disney has NOTHING to do with the production of ANY Pixar movies, they simply have a contract saying that when a movie is released, Disneys name is tagged onto it.(And ofcourse they make some cash in the process.)  The contract is soon to be up, and Pixar DEFINATELY does not need Disney... Disney knows this too.

Pixar will never do a "mature audience" film...  They have too much of a good thing going for them.
