Can I play Champions of Norrath online?
Champions of Norrath will allow a player to join up to three others for online play using the Network Adaptor for the PlayStation 2. Players can play via broadband or modem connections through SOE\'s upcoming matchmaking service. Additional details on SOE\'s matchmaking service will be coming at a later date.

look like Sony\'s working on a battle.net or a gamespy thingy. 1st time i heard about that. If all 3rd parthy games can be linked through this new service, would make things easier and cleaner.
can\'t see why not!

I think thats only for SOE games (SOE is sperate from SCEA IIRC).
But sure it would make things easier, but only if it stays free. :p

It is not free at all. Sony is indeed making there own service similar to those mentioned, however it will have a "small" monthly fee. It will let you play all of Sony\'s online games and any participating companies games. There have been articles posted on such sites as Gamespot, IGN, and the Magic Box.

I thought that "service" only included SOE\'s PC games, not PS2 games?
Link?

my original link come from Champion of norrath, a PS2 title. So i guess that this service would be for PS2 gaming.

the only SOE PC bundle thingy that was annonce, is a fixed price (20.95$/month) to play EQ1, EQ2 and planetside (something similar)

As for as pay for this service, they can do like gamespy if they care. Free but with "gaming add" here and there.

I did try to do a quick search over the three sources and nothing was easily accesable. I will try a more indepth search when I have the patience. More soon.

Nolaws your sarcasm was not appreciated.
