Alright, about half a month ago (ugh) I bought an Abit NF7-S. The thing turned out to be a dud (wouldn\'t detect processors) based on all the testing I did (different PSU\'s CPU\'s, RAM, Heatsinks) so I RMA\'d it back to newegg.com, where I bought it. I just got my new board back from them and I noticed on the back of the box it says just plain old NF7-S. My old board\'s box said NF7-s 2.0.
However, on the actual board itself it says v2.0. Do you think they just put it in the wrong box or something? Or did I really get an old version? Since I RMA\'d a v2.0, I\'d expect the same thing sent back to me.
Another thing, I have an SLK800U (uses the mounting holes) heatsink I bought as well, but I\'m not sure it\'s on right. Do I just have to scew the scews all the way down? Thermalright\'s website has horrible instructions. I\'m really wishing I had bought the A version so I would just have clipped it on and be done with it.
Oh, and one last question. Does anyone know how to put on those damn faceplates that come with the NF7-S? You know, the one that covers all the ports on the board.
