Never heard of a CD floormat.

Could you explain better?

Ok, if you want to make a music CD, 74 min, playable in any CD player, it depends on your burning software.  Some software will allow you to make a music CD from mp3s, and do everything for you.  If it won\'t, you have to make the MP3s into wav files (winamp can - options -> plugins -> soundout -> diskout .wav files).  Then you can make a music CD from the wav files....

If you mean an MP3 CD, playable in more modern players, it is again dependant on your software.  If your software doesn\'t have an "MP3 CD" option, go find some that does!

EZ CD creator, Nero, etc. - lots of them can do it.

Nero will convert it when you burn the cd as a AUDIO cd.. The amount stored on the cd is determined by time.
700mb cd = 80 minutes worth of music etc...

If you have winXP and WMP9, it\'s a snap.  Load up the files into WMP that you want to make into a cd.  highlight all the files in the now playing section of wmp and right click one of the files and select "Copy to CD or Device" and the player will go to its CD burning area.  When you have your songs ready, simply hit the "Copy" button in the upper right hand corner and WMP will convert the files for you and burn them for you onto CD as an audio CD to be used in any CD player.
