Gran Turismo 4 track list!
« on: December 12, 2003, 03:55:00 AM »

Someone hacked the GTPro disc/demo and found track list data. Its all alittle hard to understand, and by no means official as there are tracks that have been confirmed to be in GT4 (Sears Point) that are not on the list. Still, there\'s still some time before GT4, and I am not sure how old GTPro really is (they say its a really new build, but I doubt it).

Looks like;

New York - tarcmac
Grand Canyon - dirt
Tsukaba - tarmac
Fuji - tarmac
Las Vegas - tarmac + dirt (apparently)
Assisi (?)
Fisco (track in Japan) - tarmac
Deep Forest - tarmac
Capri - tarmac
High Speed Ring - tarmac
Hong Kong - tarmac
SSR5 - tarmac wet
Nurburgring - ??? looks like snow course
Paris (1 dirt, 1 tarmac)
Seattle - tarmac
San Marco ???
Louisburg (?)
Nanzenji (?)
Trial Mountain - tarmac
Test Track - all terrain
Yosemite - dirt
Grand Valley - tarmac
Autumn Ring Mini - tarmac
Akaska (?)

I CANT WAIT!

Oooh, Motegi. That\'s in the MotoGP roster, excellent track.

I can\'t wait any longer, all this info dripping out at the speed of a newly leaking tap\'s driving me mad!

That\'s 14 miles and 174 corners. You can go there on anything you like, pay the toll and do a lap.

It\'s funny, you can be on there on a Yamaha R1 doing 90mph through a corner and have to brake heavily for a 50 seater coach full of tourists!!

Mental? Yes.

Dangerous? Very.

Fun? If they fit the whole track in then it will be the best track in any game ever, it\'ll even outdo Special Stage R11 and Grand Valley Speedway in fun terms.

No Red Rock? I missed that one enough to break out GT2

Let me tell you, not easy on the eyes at all, though I did kind of get used to it after awhile. Almost

Niiiice. What does it look like?

I wish they had good courses in chicago for the public. Damn california.

Anyway, i know that i wont be dissapointed by GT4 no matter what but all good news is welcome. :)

Why do they make these fictional rally stages like Yosemite and Grand Canyon?  It probably looks cool, but there\'s no way they would allow motor racing anywhere near the two real places.

They could have used real SCCA Pro Rally events like Sno*Drift or Susquehannock Trail.

Looking at the list of files The Nurburgring is only 2.8 mb in size so I would doubt it is the old 14 mile circuit. Just the new short circuit as used in todays F1 season. :(

Oh well, I suppose the original with absolutely zero run-off and metal armco running down most of the sides is a little dangerous for modern motorsports!

:( :( :(
