Legacy of Kain. defiance foo!

So yeah.. Soulreaver 2 is probably my favorite game.  I just found out last night that defiance was out.  I rushed out to pick up a copy.  Now, I am a litte bias, but I didn\'t think they could beat SR2.. well guess what... they did!  I was plesantly suprised by the gameplay.  This is how a good videogame shouod play.  

The game starts off where the last one ended.  Raziel is back in the abbys, and Kain is on his way to get some answers out of Mobious. (The time streamer)

One of the coolest features of the game so far, other than the cool combos and sweet ass abilitis, is that you get to play as Kain and Raziel.  

the in-game graphics are awesome.  Very clean and I haven\'t found any signs of slowdown.  They are using fixed cameras, but you can still move it around.  Besides, it isn\'t that bad in the first place.  There were a few spots where things were in the way, but nothing to harsh.

All in all, if you liked any of the Legacy of Kain games, you will LOVE the latest installment.

I loved Soul Reaver and I thought Soul Reaver 2 was not so ok.  I pretty much played through the it to get the story line.  I might end up renting Defiance but it\'s at the bottom of the list of things Phil wants to do.

Yup nothing beats Soul Reaver (PSX or Dreamcast versions)

... is code for Legacy of Kain: Defiance that supposedly activates “Tube Reaver Mode". The code for the PS2 version is apparently (from the pause menu) UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, R2, L2, TRIANGLE, DOWN, CIRCLE . If anyone can confirm this with a screen shot or anything I’d love to see it. So far I can’t seem to make it work on the Xbox version although I’ve been told the corresponding buttons should work.

Bwahahahahahaaa... The tube works!  I just tried it out.  Right after you enter the code in the pause screen, it goes back to game play and Kain says\'Fear, the Tube!"  Friggin great.  Im gonna go play now, and see how the tube compares to the soal reaver!
