MP3 Player problems : Part 2
« on: January 21, 2004, 04:42:24 PM »
As in my previous thread, I had an I/O device error.

Well the manual said in order to fix that you must upgrade the firmware. So I did, and in order to upgrade the firmware, you must format the computer. So I did...

Now their is nothing on it, it wont even start up.
I look in the back of the manual, and it says just reinstall the firmware and it will be perfectly fine.

Well when Im updating the firmware- it says "Media is too damaged to be formatted." Is their another way to fix this?

BTW: its a memorex MMP8500 128mb

The technial support people know shit too.. Its been a while since they have replied to me...

:rpissed:

Please help...
