Living-In-Clip, sorry to hear that. :(

THX, the hood is mostly for looks. I only got it because the last hood I had on had a hole in it from another mod. I couldn\'t modify the mod so I decided to ditch the old hood and get something a little aggressive looking. The rise in the hood might come in handy soon since there are some new lower intakes coming out which might need the extra room.

I agree with the money ratio, though. :)

That has a V8 correct?  Have you replaced the ECU with a high perfromance one yet, I\'ve heard of some great gains with the chipped V8 Mustangs.  Low cost to HP ratio.

Yeah, I have a custom chip and it\'s been my best mod so far. It\'s a V8 also. :)

So what about your \'Stangs? Any info on what you did to them. Did you run them at the track?

If you\'re talking to me, I\'ve never had any Mustangs.  Had a 3rd gen F-Body Camaro, and a Shelby CSX and soon to be the proud daddy of a Scion Xb (they\'re an acquired taste ;)

Dang, I got my Maxima back after some lady hit me and it just ain\'t the same.

I got it back before work, took it for a test drive and so far,so good. Still,  I expect some changes in the car now that it has been tarnished.
:(

Congrats on the new hood Ace. Looks sweet. I thought about doing something with my Celica, but decided not to at the moment.

I wish I had a \'stang sometimes, although I loathe american cars for the most part for their ugly designs and shoddy quality, they are still a blast to drive (except for the V6).  A buddy of mine has a side business he does out of his shop where he mainly builds roll cages for 9 second mustangs.

He also spends tons of time and money on his mustang... it\'s pretty amazing.  I think it\'s like a 98 or 97 GT, but he dropped a 2000 Cobra R engine into it and built his own custom turbo system (90mm.... frickin\' HUGE).  He\'s racing down in Florida this weekend still trying to get a sponsor, he\'s in so much debt.  He was expecting to get racing and win his money back, but he hasn\'t had the money or time to get to a lot of races yet.

You guys planning on modding or have already modded your \'stangs?

I have the usual stuff done. Chip, gears, pulleys, intake . . . Need to do more. I think I am kissing the 13\'s now but I\'m not sure. I hope to hit the track in April when they open up for the season.

theomen,

I misread your post. :)
I thought I read that you had good luck not heard of good luck.
