Question about PC monitor TIMINGS
« on: March 21, 2004, 06:38:08 AM »
Hi there,

My videocard has a menu option which lets me choose between :

* GTF General Timing Formula
* DMT Discrete Monitor Timings
* Let Windows choose appropriate Timings

I run a Nvidia QuadroFX1000, DVi to VGA connector to a 19" CRT
monitor which runs at 100hz refresh rate.

What does it mean and what is best for gaming ? :confused:

LOL....ugh... ok,
I only found out that GTF is for newer monitor models and that MT is for older ones. Also, my Hyundai P990 is a discontinued product ; mmm quite old i guess then eh.
