Any way around this cd-key thing
« on: April 16, 2004, 02:13:23 PM »
Im not talking about burning a game to give to another friend seeing as that is illegal, but my brother got aliens vs predator 2 and both of us cant be online at the same time. I understand their trying to stop people giving it out to a bunch of different people but i dont want to buy the game and spend twice as much money just to be able to play at the same time. Any way around the cd-key?

Why not?  That\'s how Nintendo makes you play GBA games with four people.

Yea it sucks, I know how you feel.  I play Raven Shield a lot and my brother has an interest in the game but barely plays it 2-3x a month so he doesn\'t want to shell out another $50 for it.  We can\'t play each other so when he\'s in the mood for the game I have to wait till he\'s done.

Accessories $35 a pop, $100+ $12/mo for the newest Final Fantasy, etc...   gaming ain\'t getting any cheaper. :(

To answer ur question Ryu, thats why, lol. Right now hes playing AVP2 alot but i know with his ROTC stuff he wont have time, especially this summer. So i dont want to fork out money i dont have on a game that i have in the same house. Plus being on the same team kicks @ss with the aliens because you can gang up on people.

Hehe.  My answer was primarily sarcastic as I hate companies and Nintendo for making you do this stupid crap.  I do hope you find what you are looking for however and kick some butt as soon as nvidia PM\'s you.  :)
