PS2 hardware question (Right spot?)
« on: June 20, 2004, 04:35:59 PM »
Not sure if i should post this question here, but my ps2 stopped working, and i fear it was due to my own doing.  I was trying to play SF omega strain online, and my network thing wasn\'t working, i use a linksys usb adapter, and it wasn\'t working.  I thought it might be the mod chip i put in the ps2, so i went to take it out, and i did, and put everything back in order, and now the cd\'s won\'t spin, but everything else works, don\'t know what to do.  Let me know guys, i would be down to getting it fixed, but don\'t know where to go for that, etc etc...  Thanks, hit me up on AIM if you can, that\'d be faster. :)

Unfortunatly mod-chip problems aren\'t handled here, as talk of them isn\'t allowed.

However, if you did soldering or anything... you touched something you shouldn\'t.  If not, then you probably just need to double check how you put it back together...

Check all your (internal) cables/connections.
