Computer specs comparisons.
« on: May 05, 2004, 09:00:07 AM »
We have been offered a new computer by the company we bought our current computer from. They gave the following details:

New computer specs

Athlon XP 2800 Processor
512MB

120GB Hard drive
52 spd CDRW
Seperate CD/DVD ROM Drives
GForce4 Graphics card (128 MB)
Microsoft Windows XP
5X USB Ports

+All the standard things that come with new computers

For comparison, the one we already have.

AMD 500 Processor
32MB RAM
ATI Rage Pro Turbo 2X (32 MB) Graphics card
12GB Hard Drive
Windows 98SE

They are offering it for £599 (including VAT).

2 questions.

1. Is it a much better computer than the one we already have.
2. Is it good value for money.

Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

If that lower one is indeed what you currently have, then I recommend throwing it out the window. As it isn\'t worth a dime. I can\'t believe you are even asking if it\'s much better than the one you currently have.

Time to upgrade buddy, go ahead and buy te one mentioned above.

It is, it\'s a piece o\' shit.

My Dad bought it for himself, without taking someone with him who knew what they were doing, they saw him coming a mile off.

This time, I\'m throwing in with him, and I want to make sure, I want to get as much info as possible.

I have a feeling we are going to get it, as the only thing on a par with this piece of crap, is Fisherprice\'s "my first computer"
