Although we were repeatedly (and wisely) warned by Atari to consider that the game is still not representative of its final quality, and urged us to judge it fairly on that basis, right now, the harsh truth is nobody on Earth knows precisely what that final quality benchmark is supposed to be. Driv3r is so far away from being releasable in a catalogue of serious and fundamental ways that make us question how on earth the game will have all its problems sorted out by its June 21st release date.

[...]

The bottom line is that there\'s a lot of hard work to be done before it can manage that - but it can be done. Make it happen Reflections. Please.

I can\'t believe what\'s happened to Reflections since the PSone days. It saddens me that Atari have run them into the ground (****ing French :p) They should have stayed independent, so they could choose one platform and focus on it, instead of spreading resources across three platforms. Ah well The Getaway 2 and GTA San Andreas are coming this year. :D

That is the craziest thing ive heard. That is insane. I dont know whats going on but for a company that has had some experience with the title and the ps2, its kinda odd that they are running into so many problems.

Wasnt this delayed before too?

Power Unlimited, the Dutch game magazine I read had a preview on it this month ; they basically said the same. The game is just in a not so good state.

btw. they had a small hands-on feat on the Getaway 2 as well ; it seems they used some new kind of motion capture system which. The characters moved very realistic and movement was very smooth. Mmmm.. seeing the latest developments on this game might imply Team Soho might actually deliver what they promised with part 1.
