I agree that the graphics play an important role in preferences.But its funny to be so absolute with an opinion like cell shading=bad sales which isnt true.
I already answered to that.And ZOE2 is one of those examples that were attractive for their visual style.As for Wind Waker not selling as well as expected (mm\'s arguement as always) thanks to the graphics its not becuase of the cell shaded graphics.Its becuase people arent used to a Link that looks like a kiddish Amano cartoon character.Thats not the main character people loved since the days of the Nes.If the characters kept their original design but left the graphic engine the same (cell shaded I mean) it would have been more acceptable.
Cell shading had nothing to do with the game not selling as much as predicted.
The reason why most cell shaded games dont sell much its because most developers dont bother.
