Crowd Beats 2 People After Alleged Hit-And-Run Accident

MILWAUKEE -- Authorities in Milwaukee said a crowd pulled two men from a car Friday night and beat them after the driver allegedly struck three children and tried to flee.

The sheriff\'s department said a car hit two 14-year-olds as they crossed a street. Then, police said the driver made a U-turn and hit a 12-year-old.

The sheriff\'s department said a large crowd surrounded the car, pulled out the driver and a 29-year-old passenger and beat them.


The two 14-year-olds remain hospitalized. The men were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and charges are pending. No one in the crowd has been arrested.

A witness said she saw the car swerve and drive the wrong way down one-way streets before the children were hit

They got what they deserved. Not sure what the passenger had to do with it though. Unless the person said "go" but if he/she said "go back", they didn\'t deserve to be beaten. The driver, yes.

same thing happened 2 summers ago in chicago but they killed the driver and the person they hit died
