It\'s not scripted. THere is a big difference between pushing a scene along and scripting.
Here is how it worked.
THey had a casting call where they asked for people to apply that have an interesting life, interesting story, or are a high roller. They were offered free everything to come to the Golden Nugget. They have to gamble though in a small area of the casino and they have to allow themselves to be shot.
These people are in Vegas to play it up for the camera and do their thing.
Now the producers obviously tell the people there who else are part of the show and they interact.
After they get the material, they go back and shoot fillers to progress the story line. These are the scenes with the owners and the employees.
It\'s very well done for what it is. It\'s somethig different. It\'s not Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or whatever else you kids watch, but it\'s a good show nevertheless.
