oh, and winter olympics > summer olympics

Cant you post any lamer comments than these?

Also the comparisson between "summer" Olympics (its lame to  label these Olympics) and winter Olympics. These Olympics have a backround of culture and history and its not about doing extreme cool looking sports unlike winter Olympics.
I suggest you should start reading books about ancient history. The ceremony wasnt  only about showing impressive scenery. It showed the histrory of the Olympics, the philosophies, discoveries, mythology art ,the interest on developing the mind and soul  of the ancient greeks, the first practice of democracy which started in Attica, the Byzantine Empire, the revolution of the Greeks till the culture that it is today.
It grasped perfectly the spirit of the Olympics, culture and diachronic history that affected the way of thinking of so many people.Even the people of the present in so many countries

You definetelly dont know what you are talking about. You need to get yourself educated. And you have no idea of what culture is.Its funny that you reckognise old movies as "culture" but you fail to see and grasp the true depth and meaning of it.

Oh it\'s never just about the spelling, people misspell all the time.  It\'s about the irony.

Back on topic so I don\'t look like a complete jerk... I thought Australia\'s was cool, didn\'t watch this one.  I guess they don\'t re-run these things do they?  I always like a good show, this can\'t be much gayer than me watching Les Misérables on Broadway.

If some people call gay these Olympics and the ceremony I imagine what they were going to call it if the athletes were naked.Especially when watching two men in a specific Greek-Roman wrestling :p
