American Dad, created by the man himself Seth Macfarlane (Family Guy)

I\'m DLing it right now, so I\'ll give my impressions later.

not completly bad, and concidering it was a pilot, it could turn out to be pretty good series.  Usually pilots are pretty weak and this one had a few good spots in it, but it\'s no Family Guy.

I\'m not a big fan of blatant political stereotyping (especially from somebody closer to the left-wing like Seth) but this is pretty good. Give or take, about as good as an average episode of Family Guy.

The more McFarlane the better, I say. Bring out both of \'em and just hope that there\'s no Simpsons-Futurama syndrome.. where the focus in Groening\'s studio may have been more focused to the new show thus hurting the quality of the old one. I don\'t know if AD and FG will have the same staff, but if they do.. I hope the ideas/jokes are consistent on both ends.

Not better than family guy.  Kind of boring to me except the last part with that dog.  That gave me a good laugh.

Very Family Guy\'ish and as funny as Seth is he has very few voices, but those he does have kick ass.

The kids already annoy me but the rest seem ok, I\'ll give it a fair chance but I don\'t think this will succeed.
I recently discovered that my ass is the key to the universe.....now I must fight to protect my ass from those who might abuse it!!!

It sucks more than \'The Family Guy\' and that is mighty hard to do. Yes, I am in the minority, I do hate \'The Family Guy\'. I also hate \'Futurama\' and \'The Simpsons\'.

No-One is cool tho\'. I do like \'Aqua Teen Hunger Force\'.

No, I do not eat paint chips (well, now\'a\'days)... I just find no humor in most the so called "adult cartoons" like \'The Simpsons\' or \'Family Guy\'. I moderatly enjoy \'King of the Hill\', but only because I think Mike Judge is brilliant.

Infact, I wish that Cartoon Network would drop the above mentioned shows and go back to their roots. Let\'s have some anime, let\'s have the DC Comic\'s Animated Universe (Batman:TAS / Superman:TAS / Justice League / Teen Titans). Let\'s have \'Transformers\' , \'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles\' and then, for fun we can have \'Aqua Teen Hunger Force\' and some other off-the wall cartoons.

Not to take this subject off-topic, but the general opinion is \'Samurai Jack\' has been  canned. Any thoughts on that? I never bought the first season, but did borrow it from Capcom and I enjoyed it quite abit. It had style, it\'d be a shame for it to get killed, just so other shows like \' Totally Spies\' can remain on the air.

Oh and Boomerang need\'s to redo their lineup. I hate how it\'s mostly marathon\'s. I would prefer a more streamlined schedule, have He-Man / Superfriends  / GI Joe / Tom and Jerry and all the other classics at certain set times of the day & week.

Family Guy and South Park are my two favorite cartoons on TV, but south park does take the cake.

I always did enjoy Batman on cartoon network. But also, I love the like more recent kids shows on there. Dextors Lab, all those good ones.

Aqua teen is overrated IMO, but isn\'t horrible, still pretty good. I like "Home Movies" on adult swim too.
It was a darkness all my own, a song played on the radio, It went straight to my heart - I carried it with me - until the darkness was gone.

\'The Grim Adventues of Bill and Mandy\' is decent also. Still, I would rather see a lot of the classic cartoons get some more airtime... Not to mention it seems to many series start and killed off extremely early (Samurai Jack, He-Man, TransformerS: Armada).
