When does this game come out anyway??  IGN and EB are saying Sept 1 but that\'s only a week away.

Screw HL2, I\'m waiting for KOTOR2 (trailer) and Splintercell 3 (Trailer). wooo.


Both will be indeed great games.. Coop action in sc3.. woooot

Damn I never got into KOTOR, does it have a lot of replay value or is it something that you can\'t really beat in several days?  Also do moderate or mild Star Wars fans find this game great?  I think the franchise is ok but a good game is a good game.

I\'ve been hearing about it every place I go, I guess I just never jumped on the bandwagon.

Very good RPG, has a lot of reply value. Unless you complete every sub quest there is. Which most people don\'t.  Kotor2 looks a lot better, graphic and fighting wise anyway. Hopefully the gameplay has improved more.  I\'d like a coop Multiplayer side to it, the ability to buy different ships and more ability to build custom characters like SW Galaxies. Which is also a good game, but no single player aspect   i\'m not paying to play games online.

KOTOR was.. give or take.. great. I felt some of it was a little bland and boring, but it had a lot of content.

I just noticed today that HL2 is available for "Preloading" on Steam.  I think that means once you preload it, it will then let you play it the same day the game is made available for sale through other channels.  

I don\'t have any interest in downloading such a huge game.  I\'d rather own the DVD or CD-based version, in case my hard drive fails...  But this does indicate that maybe it will be released on 9/1 after all.
