Burnout 3 Online

I\'ve had a network adapter for quit some time now but I can never connect to Central Station.

I know I can get online because I\'ve been playing a lot of Splinter Cell:Pandora Tomorrow online(apparently it\'s not necessary to connect to CS to get online)

My question:I\'m gonna buy Burnout 3 tomorrow.Can I play it online or MUST I connect to CS to get online?

Second question:What is CS exactly and what purpose does it have?

you should be able to play burnout 3 online, the only problem i can see is if you need to use your cs login to play

have you been able to register your username with cs? you should have done this when you first got the network adapter, if not try deleting your network config from the memory card then make a new one and see if you can connect, if that doesn\'t work then you need to contact sony, there should be a number in the book that came with your network access disc and ask them for a new network access disc

Burnout 3 uses EA\'s servers so it doesn\'t need your Central Station login details, you only use CS with Sony\'s games to access the SCEE game servers. And that\'s that, see you online tomorrow, maybe.

The Central Station portal gives you news and info about games, allows you to enter competitions and has some other stuff you can access when you get a pin from Sony, haven\'t got my pin yet so I can\'t access it.

The PIN is a pain... took them 2 Month (two !) for mine !!!
