Don\'t listen to him, I may not prefer Antec either but I love you enough to shield you from the truth.

I would have gotten this mothertrucker though:

Don\'t listen to him,

Yeah don\'t listen me, after all I am just making this up, that and the general consensus of any well knowledgeable Pc tech knows that what I stated above is accurate. Many top PC techs hands down will always mention PC&C when discussing PSU for the PC. They are the reference PSU, they set the standard’s for which the rest of the companies attempt to try and duplicate, yet fail.

Oh and THX, while the Fortron is a GOOD PSU(much better than the ANtec) it is in no way of the same caliber of a PP&C, fortoron\'s are the second choice for those unable to purchase a PP&C.

Nvidia I was just joshin man lighten up!

I\'ve had a PCPC psu before and it was grrreat, but doesn\'t justify twice the cost of another well rated one imo.  I\'d rather spend the savings on a future-proof video card.

God damn, will someone lighten Nvidia up.

I hate having to be at work.:( I won\'t be able to pick up DOOM 3 until I get off work and hopefully will have one day off to play it.
*sigh*

It depends, if you want the most stable overclocks then yes. Also if you want a unit that will last you 5 years and up without giving u any hassle, then I would say it\'s worth every penny. I work part time for a company that manufactures PS (not for PC) and if I have learn one thing there, it\'s that when dealing with hi-tech electronics you always want the cleanest power source available to run through it\'s veins.

u won\'t need a psu for 5 years.. most likely the standard will change and the power requirements. I change my psu on average every 1 to 2 years.  (but always quality units)

It\'s alright and I agree a hundred percent, however, I have never had problems out of Antec. If this one goes bad,I\'m sure I will invest in a more expensive one, but for the time being (no overclocking yet), this one is fine.
