Well I played Silent Hill and Silent Hill 2 but not SH3. Silent Hill 4 has
all the great things that keep the series going. At first I got confused
in the beginning as Henry keeps waking up and only dreaming every time I
come back to his apartment from the portal in the walls. I swear I was
awake. lol These portal are almost everywhere in each level.
It\'s so you can get back to his apartment to save, put items in your inventory box
(yep inventory box like RE), pickup the phone, look in the front door hole
or just to look in the crack in the wall that your next-door neighbor
"Eileen" is in. Funny thing is each time I look in the crack to see
Eileen when I get back, She is doing something or just sitting on the bed,
or just outside of you front door sweeping or talking to the manager of
this apartment about you. You can see all this in your front door peep
hole. The manager will ring your door bell so you open the door but you
can\'t. Henry bangs on the door and says things so the manager hears him
but he can\'t hear anything but he says that he heard weird noises like
before. I guess it\'s those demons sounds. I had a feeling of
helplessness and the only way out is the hole in the bathroom wall.
The controls are great. I think a little better then SH2. I like the "charge
power-up attack" feature. When switch weapons, There is no need to go in
the menu screen anymore, Just a hit of a button and it\'s there +1 Konami.
Cam is the same as always.
The weapons are same like the other series but this time around some can break. Like the glass bottle, When using it at one point it will break and be even more damaging because of the one side is all rigged. The graphics, Sounds effects and animation are great! The enemy models looks much better this time around because you can see what they are, Well not all of them. lol In the options, You can turn off the filters once again like SH2. +1 Konami. Well if you\'re in for the Silent Hill series, You should pick this one up for sure.
