Yes, this is the next new "Ferrari for the masses." The changes they made are all significant improvements in my opinion. The taillights in particular look awesome with that Enzo treatment. Of course Ferrari had to concede something to the horsepower wars with this larger engine, but they still claim they will never be the biggest or the fastest. They are aiming for a certain "driving experience" as I think they put it. I agree with the philosophy.
At least im not alone. Ive been somewhat of a ferrari freak since i was a kid and people always bust my chaps because their cars arent always the fastest etc.
As for the 11.3:1 compression ratio - doesnt surprise me. Anything lower than 10.4:1 is sloppy to me.
This is edfinately a ferrari that ive been looking forward too. Its a damn road version of an F1 almost. I wish i was loaded. Meh. I was never a huge fan of the modena though. It looked sexy but it was always outclassed by the maranello (this is the regular 360. Not sure about the 360 challenge). But i guess its to be expected or so because its the entry level Ferrari, more or less ( i tend not to put them into tiers).
And about Ferrari\'s and V8\'s - It depends, like bozco said. Its not unheard of by any means, though throughout history ferrari is pretty well known for v12 engines.
I havent heard any news about the 612 Scaglietti recently either. Its out right? Hmm.... Oh well.
Gotta love ferraris (GO SCHUMACHER!)

(also gotta love the fact that its N/A. Whoo Hoo!)
