Can someone be spying in someone elses emails?
« on: October 18, 2004, 10:50:01 AM »
My question is is there a way someone can be spying someone elses computer and watch his emails or even have the emails that he receives sent to that someone\'s  computer or something similar?
Lets say for example that someone has a hotmail account in his oultook express and one Local email account?

If yes how can that person know if someone is spying his emails?

Yes, and it is tough to tell. Change your password, and any hints you may have for your password.

well I did change my password many times. But still. If there is some way someone can get the passwords with some kind of method like a spying program when I connect through my emails with Outlook then changing my passwords mean nothing

There are programs that will decrypt outlook express passwords.

I would check for keyloggers, and type in my password each time I log in. Also if in XP-2K make sure you lock the computer when you are not at it.

Yeah, there is. Keylogggers are a big thing, I know I have one on your pc for the longest time Uni. It was fun while it lasted.
