Doom: The Movie
« on: October 20, 2004, 02:04:58 PM »
Dig this:

The Rock is currently overseas shooting "Doom" in Prague. Its a film adaptation based on the popular video game. He plays a character called Sarge, a futuristic space marine that is mankind\'s only hope to stop an invading force of demons straight from Hell. Rock is also shooting "Spy Hunter" towards the end of the year. He\'s also recently been attached to "Gridiron Gang", a movie based on real life events of a Los Angeles youth probation center counselor who forms a football team for troubled youths.

Something that combines video games, wrestling, and movies. In theory, this will be the greatest thing I have ever known, heh.

I am too. If it weren\'t for the Rock, who\'s been on a roll, I\'d write this off completely.

Rock is the perfect popcorn movie action hero.  I hope they give him so attitude in spite of the game character looking so shy and sullen all the time.
