Yes of course you want me to shut up - yet don\'t say a word about BS, Core, Mystiq and others who regularly conservative/repub bash to varying degrees.
I agree with THX, I am ready for the election to be over - then I can bash Kerry for every promise he made during the campaign in which he fails to keep.
I do honestly believe there are two seperate America\'s. I don\'t know if any other conservatives will agree with me on here - but it seems we live in two seperate worlds with two entirely different ideas on how this country should be run and the direction it should proceed in. One wants us to be proactive and put America first - the other wants us to be reactive and be a get approval from the UN and certain countries in Europe before we do anything. You can\'t turn a channel on TV - especially in the past 2 months without seeing some liberal spouting off about how Bush is to blame for everything that has gone wrong in this country. I think at the heart of it Gore and the left in this country are to blame. If Kerry wins by a hair you won\'t see Republicans and conservatives out rioting and whining about how Kerry stole the election for 4 years. We may not like it, but we won\'t question his legitimacy - his policies yes, but not the fact that he won the election. On the flip side if Bush wins by a hair - the left will be out in full force claiming voter fraud/intimidation/disenfranchisement - further dividing this country.
Just last week I saw some people blaming Bush for the series of hurricanes that hit the US this year... With freaks like this in the country who will say and do just about anything to elect Kerry - I worry. What makes me worry even more is that Kerry panders to each and every one of them.
Now that I think about it. I bet it was Bush who caused those hurricanes in an attempt to wipe out the minority population in Florida so that way he doesn\'t have to worry about desifranchising them during the election! I should of known.
Bush DID steal the 2000 election. Re-counts are nothing. Like somebody else said, you can\'t count the votes that weren\'t allowed.
Well maybe he didn\'t. Maybe it was just coincidence that Bush\'s cousing, John Ellis, was Fox News senior election analyst that night of the election. And Fox was the first network to call it for Bush. Then we has the CEO of NBC, jack welch who was a well known Republican, sitting next to the director of elections and urging the guy to call it for Bush.
It\'s funny though because Jack reminded me of Giga when he said ""it\'s just pure crazy...The idea that I had anything to do with the election is-on its face, for people with the IQs over fifty-beyond belief"
Then we have the highest paid reporter Tim Russert flashing a Bush pin at Bush that night of the Al Smith Dinner. Tim Russert later on became the stepping stone for whenever the Bush adminstration needed some light. Such as the time when inspector Davin Kay exposed that there were no WMD in Feb. 2004 Bush was in a rare interview with Tim Russert. I say rare because by that time Bush had only given 12 press conferences while other presidents including his daddy had given over 50.
Russert could of cornered the guy but let him off easily and according to Wall Street Journal a conservative columnist even agreed that Bush had a lacking performance.
It\'s sad because Bush was portrayed to have won and Gore was merely trying to keep life in his campaign. It was never that way the dispute was whether Bush had won legimatelly and not that Bush had won and we were waiting for Gore to prove it wrong.
