Firefox user: version 1.0 is out..

... wich is lastest build after 1.0PR (preview release)

getting it now...

FF has been using  A LOT of memory recently like 100, 000KB in the task manager so im hopiing this might fix it

it always depends how many extension and how many tabs you have open.

right now, in task manager firefox.exe uses 16 megs. 4 extension, no tab.

I\'m running it now

it feels much more stable than before

feel much faster for me.

i was sad that my tab extension wasnt updated.. but, on the address bar you can type

about:config

then find the string

browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs

click to change to "true"


tool -> option ->  advanced -> tabbed browsing

link that open in new window will now open into tabs

voilà !

how do u clear the cache aka temp interbet files?

 im convinced thats the problem and i cant fnd any way to clear it

Argg, I installed the new version and now I\'m having problems connecting to websites.  The only one that works is my school\'s website, anyone got any suggestions?

I thought it cleared it out after each use on it\'s own?

tools -> option -> privacy -> cache

Argg, I installed the new version and now I\'m having problems connecting to websites. ..

i\'d suggest do remove your custom extension, close/restart.

if that dont work

remove program and re-install.

and if that still dont work, go visit their troubleshooting page

i went back to the preview release and it works fine.  I\'ll just wait for the next version.
