Spot Bigfoot and win £50 (UK)

:D

Who\'s going hunting?

http://gamesradar.msn.co.uk/news/default.asp?pagetypeid=2&articleid=32769&subsectionid=1585

Show PSM2 the evidence and you can pocket a cool 50 quid

Maybe it\'s madness. Maybe they know that their £50 is safe in their wallets. But PSM2 magazine are offering a £50 bounty for the first confirmed sighting (and slaying?) of \'Bigfoot\' in GTA San Andreas.

Speculation has been rife since the game\'s release that somewhere in the woodlands of the million-seller lurks Bigfoot. Other rumours suggest that a leatherfaced crazy-man (known as - hey! - Leatherface) lives in a shack in the woods. Still more believe that Piggsy, the mind-scarring \'star\' from Rockstar\'s infamous Manhunt, lives somewhere in the game. Well PSM2 want to settle the score once and for all - and are prepared to pay for evidence.

They want your proof. Capture the mysterious woodland fiend (be it man or beast) on VHS tape (plug your PS2 into your video\'s SCART socket and hit record) and, if you deliver the first confirmed evidence of the Beast of The Panopticon, they\'ll send you fifty of the queen\'s.

But that\'s not all. Witnessed the lights in the sky? Seen a random plane crash? Or have you been chased by the haunted, driverless car? Whatever you have witnessed, PSM2 want to know about it. They want your digipics, videos and written accounts and will make you famous in the process. Describe your discovery (and include pics if you have them) and send it to PSM2@futurenet.co.uk

Got a VHS tape of San Andreas weirdness (be it deliberate or a glitch)? Or do you want to make history and claim that Bigfoot Bounty? Send your VHS tapes to San Andreas Weirdness Watch, PSM2 Magazine, Future Publishing, 30 Monmouth Street, Bath, BA1 2BW.

PSM2 will feature full reports in an issue coming soon and we\'ll keep you updated too on gamesradar.com.

Yea, it\'s just a believable myth. In playing Mario 64 DS, this Bigfoot thing reminds me of the "writing" on the star statue in the ghost courtyard.

The bastards at Nintendo left it there so it looks like something, and speculation ran wild about unlocking Luigi or whatever, but it still doesn\'t say or do anything.

Bigfoot doesn\'t exist in GTA, but it would\'ve been neat.

Real life is another story...

I find it very hard to believe the person who took that pic just coincidentally happened to be taking it at that precise moment, the exact moment bigfoot appeared.

*Cerberus smells unmistakable whiff of bullshit coming from the general direction of that picture*

Maybe he turned around after he saw him and got the camera.  I don\'t know.

I doubt it, looking from the screenshot, it looks like he is doing the triathlon challenge from Santa Maria beach.

I\'ve tried that triathlon challenge myself, and when I was on the bike, I was paying no attention to the roadside whatsoever. When you are on the bikes in the triathlon challenge, you fly along at a highly unrealistic high speed. All I was focusing on, was the red markers in the distance.

If by any chance, he did see it out of the corner of his eye, by the time he\'d have turned around and backtracked, I\'m pretty sure it would have not been there anymore, as naturally, the so called real bigfoot is supposed to be camera shy.

Then add to that, the fact that by some amazing coincidence, the guy happened to have his camera set up in the first place, almost as if he was expecting it, it\'s just too much of a coincidence for me to think it\'s genuine.

Having said that, I\'m not saying it doesn\'t exist, only the game designers know that for sure.
