Problems with firewall after installing MSN 6.2
« on: February 13, 2005, 11:19:13 AM »
After trying to log into MSN, it said I needed to download V6.2 to log in. After doing so, I\'ve started to experience problems with my firewall. I have Norton Systemworks 2004 and use AOL 9.0.

When I tried to access the net, it kept giving me a timeout error, and gave me instructions to fix it. I followed these instructions, but the problem remained. I tried altering the permissions to let everything from aol access the net, but it still doesn\'t work. Only after disabling the "Enable Security" in the Pesonal Firewall Settings section, will it let me on, as soon as I enable it, it restricts me access again.

Anyone know how I can fix this, as it\'s pissing me off, every time I want to come online, I have to disable my firewall.

I\'ve uninstalled MSN altogether, but it\'s still giving me this problem.
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.
