the MTV xbox 360 thread

Show sucked @$$ but it\'s MTV, I wasn\'t expecting anything much more than a hype fest, complete with moronic band that we can look at for 2 whole seconds before they change to a different camera again.

mm about the DVI port, it looks like another proprietary adapter on back like all modern consoles have to cut down on costs, and of course so we have to spend another $30 for anything above composite.  I bet they\'ll support DVI, maybe even HDMI?

The whole Xbox 360 "event" was more than disappointing. After watching the 360 video, I\'d think they were aiming at a 6 year old audience level...it sort of dawned on me after that nerdy ass loser screamed Booyah!! I was like "no he did not just do that "

The faceplates idea is incredibly queer. What about the rest of the console?

Myabe im not looking good enough but i only see 2 trailers and both are nothing that a pc cant do currently, or so it seems.

What the hell? They cut out almost all the X360 stuff.. Instead we had to sit through 25 minutes of gay music. The only time the X360 was shown was in the commercial and when the girl put the X360 on the stand, the game footage lasted no more than 20 seconds (short clips of Fez and his buddies playing PD0).

Did the game footage get cut out because of negative feedback or what?

Microsoft looks more and more like a company run by Benny Hill.

The TXB staff who attended the MTV show said there was never a focus on games.  Perfect Dark Zero was the only playable game at the show and there were only running videos of other games.

I think the event did what it was supposed to and that is make people aware that Xbox 360 is coming (no matter how poorly it was done) and to associate it with MTV, which may or may not be cool depending who you talk to.

Agreed. People expected it too be this huge thing. It was just to show the xbox360 off to the public and thats all.

E3 is right around the corner.
