pretty strong words. tho i think this guy was blowin alot of smoke as neither country really wants a showdown. there was an interesting tidbit about how china passed a law in march stating it could use "unpeaceful" means to get taiwan back...THAT might provoke a response...:ohnoes:

This is pretty freaky, I remember reading somewhere that if World War III were going to happen it would begin with Taiwan.

Yup... one has to wonder why they can\'t just leave Taiwan alone. I know it\'s complicated and politics and all that, but damn... China is huge, they don\'t need Taiwan.

China is huge, they don\'t need Taiwan.

They don\'t need it but they want it.  And by they I mean their government.  This is what happens when you give so much power to a governing body of a handful of men.  They get full of themselves and start wanting more.
