I bought the front brake pad set for my Daewoo from a Holden service (which also they said they are the authorized service for Daewoo) and the guy said everything was in the box. They came in a box with an unopened seal on the top, so the box should not have been opened before although the bottom was a bit loose with no seal. Since the bottom was small loose so I was queried and opened the box from the bottom and see just after I picked up the pads. Only 2 pads were found, but since I am not a mechanic and I got no idea how many pads it should be so I did not ask them.
I got the car to another garage to change the pads for me because the labour from the Holden service is extremely expensive. Then the guy told me not only 2 pads were found whereas all pads should have four, but also the pads were in the wrong size for my car. It was on a Saturday, and I took the pads back to the Holden service today Tuesday for an exchange, return or whatsoever.
The spare part guy double check everything and said “we would not sell any pads by only 2 pieces, everything should be in the box”. They admitted that they offered the wrong size pads but no exchange or compensation is accepted because there are only 2 pads. What? The box only had 2 pads inside when I first opened up, why the hell I keep the 2 pads for? They said I lost the 2 pads somewhere else. WHAT THE FUCK!? I told them everything that the top seal was on but the bottom was a bit loose etc. And they go yea, that’s how you lost the 2 pads. But fuck, I am 200% sure I did not lose the pads, THERE WERE ONLY TWO IN THE BOX, IN THE FUCKING FIRST PLACE!!! They also said because the pads were sold almost 2 months ago which there is no way a return or exchange can be made. The point is there were only 2 pads in the box, they are wrong size and I paid full price for them, that’s it. I got no time to get the car fix and bring the wrong pads to them within the 2 months. No matter how long I bought the pads ago, the fact is the fact. And the bloody guy said the point is you lost the 2 pads and it was two months ago, we can’t do nothing. WHAT? We argued and wasted me for more than half and hour with nothing good for me except full of shit from them.
They should be the “expert” of Daewoo and how the fuck they could give me the wrong size pad? I don’t mind the fucking $100 for 2 new rubbish pads, but they insist that I lost the pads, which is just totally ridiculous. I am full of anger and swearing DON’T NEVER EVER BUY HOLDEN OR DO ANY SERVICE WHATSOEVER. FUCK THEM!! I’d spread the words to all media, webpages, forums and everything I can think of for this nonsense.
