Pictures from a New Orleans Resident
« on: September 10, 2005, 11:12:32 AM »
I got this from a different forum...would like to share it here.

..This is a very good collage of pictures taken by a man from Nicaragua. He lives in the French Quarter with some fellow friends. There are 197 pictures in all, but they are fantastic, and the captions make for a good read. I hope you enjoy...

Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

LOL.  Didn\'t notice the gardening boots.

Yeah, I actually finally read the story and finished viewing all the pictures.  The story sure is interesting than I thought. Here is a summary of what I remember...

A guy fell off from the 4th story building into a car and became unconscious.  Trees falling into the gate but none touch the statue of Jesus.  A reporter with a good look make up 75% of the story and exaggerated 95% of what she know...lol...guess I learned something new everyday...people were waiting on the street to be evacuated but it seems like they were obviously been ignored...

Look at all those black looters...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
